Before You Travel

Required Identification

We require valid government-issued ID for all passengers 16 and older. This may include:

Prohibited Items

Ammunition and Bear Spray are not allowed on board any of our coaches or in our luggage storage area. Guns may be placed in our luggage bin only if they are in a locked container.

Luggage Checks

Our carriers retains the right to conduct a search of all carry-on luggage without prior notice. Failure to comply with this policy will not be tolerated and may lead to forfeiture of travel. For more information, please check the following links:

Travelling with Children

We welcome children of all ages.

Zero Tolerance Intoxication Policy

OneBus has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to intoxication. Showing visible signs of intoxication is subject to removal from the coach. No open alcohol or drugs are permitted aboard the coach. Should passengers be caught with open alcohol on board, they will be required to leave the coach immediately, without refund, and will be banned from future travel

Service Animals

Service Animals are permitted. Tickets with a Service Animal must be booked with us by phone. Some carriers require 48-hours notice for service animal bookings.

FAQs

How do I book using the app?

Using their smartphone or android, go to their app store and search ONEBUS Canada. Download and follow the instructions found on ‘How to book’.

I see there are many pick-up points, how do I know which is the one I should choose?

Always look out for the ONEBUS symbol - these are official pick-up/drop off points and should be chosen as part of your journey.

How much luggage can I take?

One large piece of checked luggage (23kg/50lbs) is permitted and one carry on back pack/purse.

What should I do if my bus is late?

Please allow at least 15 minutes past the time you are due to be picked up before calling Reservations, as the bus maybe simply running behind. If you do call Reservations, please remember they will then provide you the number to call the bus operator. 1 (833) 663-2871

Do you allow pets to travel onboard?

We allow Service Animals to board, as long as this has been approved no less than 48hrs prior to departure, otherwise we cannot guarantee travel.

Do I have to book online, or can I simply show up and pay the driver to travel?

Advanced reservations should be made to guarantee a seat, as not all providers may be able to process payments.

Do you accept cash?

No, all our reservations are made cashless and require a valid credit card.

My app isn't working, what should I do?

Leave it for a while and try again later as it could be a server or connection issue. If it persists, restart your phone and try again. If this still is a problem, please contact your service provider.

My trip involves multiple transport connections and an overnight wait. Do you provide accommodation?

No, if your trip features a layover, you are responsible for arranging overnight accommodation yourself.
Passenger is responsible to ensure that they are aware of different policies if trip is with multiple partners
